We have designed our sizing from extra small - extra large based on the Canadian Standard Sizing Chart.

From day one, being sustainable and eco-friendly has been a vital part of Awai Swim.
By combining our conscious efforts of using sustainable fabrics, biodegradable shipping bags and minimizing our overall waste, we are ensuring a reduced carbon footprint.
FABRIC
All of our solid colour fabrics are eco-friendly and made from regenerated nylon. Pre and post consumer plastics, abandoned fishing nets and other plastics found in our oceans are taken and recycled into our beautiful eco-friendly swimwear material. Our fabric shares the same properties as virgin nylon, without its large negative impact on the environment.
Our fabric prints are locally sourced from a family run business or are deadstock fabrics. The reverse side of all of our printed bikinis are made with our solid colour eco-friendly fabrics.
PACKAGING
Awai Swim uses 100% compostable + biodegradable shipping bags - making our brand virtually plasticless.
Our shipping bags can be tossed into your home compost bin, and will completely break down within 90 -120 days. If our bags somehow do end up in a landfill, they will still biodegrade within 2 years (traditional plastic mailers can take up to 400 years).

PRODUCTION
Awai Swim is a slow fashion, made-to-order handmade swimwear brand. We do not have any stock on hand and only start making your swimwear once your order is placed.
Our made-to-order alternative eliminates the possibility of overstock and excessive waste.
Excess fabric is utilized and made into swimwear straps and our beloved scrunchies.
Fast fashion brands send up to 12.8 million tons of overstock clothing to landfills annually (30% of their garments that have not sold).
All items are handmade to order in your chosen size, colour and style especially for you!
Our current processing time is between 3-4 weeks.
Processing times may vary depending on busier seasons.
Processing times during sales, product launches or busier seasons can reach up to 5+ weeks.
If you need your order by a specific date - send us a message prior to your order, we're usually able to accommodate.
Canadian Shipping :
All parcels are sent via Canada Post or UPS. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery once your order is shipped.

To ensure the longevity of your Awai, please care for your suits
- Rinse with tap water immediately after contact with sunscreen, salt or chlorine water
- Hand wash in cold water and mild detergent
- Lay flat or hang dry in shade
- Do not wring out fabric, tumble dry or iron
Please understand we do not accept returns as all items are processed on a made-to-order service in your colour and size of choice.

Exchanges will only be accepted within 14 days of delivery and in unworn condition.
The customer is responsible for return and resend shipping.
Items marked as final sale cannot be exchanged.
* No two pattern bikinis are the same. Each set will vary depending on the cut of each piece and will not be the exact same as the photos shown.
* Charms added to suits are not solid gold and will tarnish over time due to repeated exposure to water and sunscreen. To extend the longevity of your charms be sure to take proper care of them (limit exposure to water, avoid contact with sunscreen).
